Here was a little test page I put together rather quickly from a project I’ve been chipping away at.  It’s not as successful as I would have liked but it was nice seeing them all together on a page.

"everything is a trigger now!"

translightfield:

yes you fuck, everything has always had the potential to be a trigger. do you not understand what a trigger is? things that remind people of their abuse or a traumatic event they went through are triggers. everything, and i mean absolutely everything, has the potential to be a trigger.

someone can be triggered by maple syrup or diet pepsi because their abuser made them pancakes the morning after they mercilessly beat them or because their abuser always drank diet pepsi.

don’t you dare complain about someone having a trigger you deem “stupid” (nice ableism!) or “weird”, especially especially especially if you do not have ptsd.

if you refuse to tag someones triggers when they ask because you believe that couldnt ever, ever be anyone’s trigger bc it doesn’t seem relevant to any type of traumatic experience you could imagine, then you are literal human garbage and you need to educate yourself and go sit in a garbage can where you belong.

The kakapo is a critically endangered species of large, flightless, nocturnal, ground-dwelling parrot of the super-family Strigopoidea endemic to New Zealand. It has finely blotched yellow-green plumage, a distinct facial disc of sensory, vibrissa-like feathers, a large grey beak, short legs, large feet, and wings and a tail of relatively short length.

The total known population is only 126 living individuals, as reported by the Kakapo Recovery programme, most of which have been given names.Because of Polynesian and European colonisation and the introduction of predators such as cats, rats, ferrets, and stoats, the kakapo was almost wiped out. Conservation efforts began in the 1890s, but they were not very successful until the implementation of the Kakapo Recovery plan in the 1980s. (x)

There are ways you can help save the kakapo population through donations, adoptions, voluteering, becoming a supporter, or buying merchadise.

The Whitest Kids U’ Know x

I really spent four years in the states thinking this couldn’t possibly be a real thing but then I graduated and everyone knew the pledge of allegiance PERFECTLY and then I realized how true this gifset really is. If you say something enough as a kid, it’ll never leave you. The thing tho, is that normally, kids know lullabies, and songs. Not a poem about mindless patriotism.

REBLOGGING FOR ALL THE FUCKING TIMES I GOT IN TROUBLE, MAINLY IN HIGH SCHOOL, FOR NOT SAYING THE WEAK ASS PLEDGE!

SAME! I used to “baaaaaaa” during the pledge in middle school lol

I also refused to say the pledge starting in middle school. I always got in so much trouble even though i respectfully stood and stayed silent. I wasnt disruptive or anything.

I didn’t get in trouble per-say, but back in high school I refused to do the pledge and got some pretty dirty looks from my teacher.
